Clinical learning solutions portfolio

Clinical learning systems for bedside reasoning, workflow, and evidence use.

I translate complex clinical knowledge into structured, usable learning experiences that support clinical reasoning, decision-making, and workflow understanding. My work combines critical care nursing, cardiac ICU experience, adult learning theory, PhD-level evidence synthesis, and hands-on development of interactive education tools.

Tools in action

What the learner actually experiences.

The screenshots below show active learning states: audio-supported modules, scenario prompts, phone-friendly practice, and clinical reasoning feedback.

ETCO2 module with listen mode open

ETCO2: read or listen

Each module can be read traditionally or experienced as a short two-voice podcast with an audio player, timed transcript, and scroll-linked content so learners can use the format that helps them engage.

MTP facilitator control screen MTP room-facing projector screen MTP participant phone response screen

MTP: three coordinated views

The facilitator manages the private control screen, the room sees a clean projector view, and participants can use phones to follow along, commit to first moves, answer prompts, and support the debrief.

ECG rhythm practice screen

ECG: practice after instruction

Learners move from rhythm concepts into strip-based recognition, clinical takeaways, and practice questions that reinforce pattern recognition without turning the activity into passive review.

GasLab iOS challenge screen

GasLab iOS: challenge mode

The iOS app presents ABG values as an interpretive problem, then asks learners to classify the disorder and compensation status before revealing reasoning and clinical guidance.

Development method

Technology supports the learning strategy.

The work starts from clinical and educational problems, then uses emerging technology to accelerate drafting, test alternatives, polish interaction, and produce reviewable artifacts. Clinical judgment, source quality, local policy, and learner safety remain human-owned.

Clinical need first

Tools are built for real gaps in bedside practice, staff education, or research workflow.

Human review stays final

Technology can suggest, draft, and flag; clinicians and educators decide what is safe and accurate.

Local context matters

Hospital workflow, policy, equipment, and culture are validated before a tool becomes authoritative.

Iteration is the advantage

Modern tools make it possible to build, test, revise, and package educational work at a much faster cadence.
